Fraser Valley Wine Passport
October is a good month to explore Fraser Valley wine country. The Fraser Valley Wine Passport runs throughout the month, with wineries, cideries and a distillery across Langley, Abbotsford and Surrey taking part.
For $30, your passport gets you a tasting at each participating location, so you can spread your stops out over the month or make an afternoon of it. Even better, $15 from every passport goes back to the participating businesses and the other $15 supports local food banks.

Langley Burger Month
October 1–31, 2026 | Participating restaurants throughout Langley
19 restaurants. 19 burgers. One month to see how many you can try. Langley Burger Month brings independent restaurants across the community together for a little friendly competition. Each restaurant has created its own burger for the month, all priced at $22, and you get to do the judging.
Grab a passport, collect stamps as you go and vote for your favourites for Best Tasting, Best Presentation and Most Unique. Try four or more and you’ll also be entered to win a prize.
A portion of every Burger Month burger sold supports the Langley Food Bank, so there’s another good reason to add one more burger to the list.

31st Annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival
Saturday, October 10, 2026 | Fort Langley | 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
The Fort Langley Cranberry Festival is back for its 31st year, taking over the village on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Start the day with the Fort Langley Lions Club pancake breakfast at 8 a.m., then head out to Glover Road where more than 125 vendors, 15+ food trucks and plenty more will be set up throughout the village.
It’s a busy day in Fort Langley, so come hungry and give yourself some time to look around.
Fort Langley Village Farmers Market
Every Saturday through December 5, 2026 | 9 a.m.–3 p.m. | 9025 Glover Road
If you’re in Fort Langley on a Saturday, swing by the Village Farmers Market. Pick up something for dinner, grab a loaf of bread or something sweet, browse what local makers have brought that week, then carry on into the village.
