LANGLEY BURGER MONTH LOGOLangley Burger Month is a celebration of collaboration among independent restaurants across Langley.

This isn’t just about putting burgers on plates. It’s about independent restaurants coming together for a little friendly, creative competition. One that highlights the quality and diversity of Langley’s food scene and encourages guests to choose locally owned places they may not have visited before when heading out for a bite to eat.

A portion of proceeds from every Burger Month burger sold will support the Langley Food Bank.

How It Works

Starting October 1, each participating restaurant will feature a unique Burger Month creation available throughout October for $22.

Pick up a Burger Month Passport at any participating restaurant and collect a stamp when you try a featured Burger Month burger. Collect four or more stamps, complete your passport and drop it off at any participating restaurant by November 7 to receive one entry into the prize draw.

You can also enter by vote online for your favourites in three categories: Best Tasting, Best Presentation and Most Unique. No purchase is required to vote. Voting closes October 31.

Limit one contest entry per person, regardless of how you enter. No purchase necessary. See the Official Contest Rules for full eligibility requirements, the mail-in entry option, prize details and other contest conditions.

Prizes

There are 15 prizes up for grabs, with a total approximate value of $650.

The Grand Prize includes a one-night stay at the Coast Langley City Hotel & Convention Centre with breakfast for two, plus four $25 gift cards to participating Langley restaurants.

There are also 14 additional prizes, each consisting of a $25 gift card from a participating restaurant.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Contest runs October 1–31, 2026. Open to legal residents of British Columbia who are 19 years of age or older. Limit one entry per person, regardless of entry method. Voting closes October 31, 2026. Completed passports must be submitted by November 7, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Selected entrants must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question before being declared a winner.

Official Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, WHO ARE 19 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. CONTEST PERIOD

The Langley Burger Month Contest (the “Contest”) begins on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM PT and ends on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (the “Contest Period”).

All passport submissions and mail-in entries must be received by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on November 7, 2026. All votes must be received by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on October 31, 2026. Submissions received after the applicable deadline will be disqualified.

2. SPONSOR AND ADMINISTRATOR

The Contest is sponsored and administered by Tourism Langley (the “Sponsor”), with its principal place of business located at 7888 200 Street, Unit 240, Langley, British Columbia V2Y 3J4.

All questions, comments and complaints about the Contest must be directed to Tourism Langley at info@tourism-langley.ca. Participating restaurants are not able to answer questions about the Contest, the prize draws or these Official Contest Rules.

Participating restaurants are promotional partners of the Contest. They are not sponsors, administrators or operators of the Contest and are not responsible for the conduct of the prize draws or the fulfilment of prizes.

3. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to legal residents of British Columbia, Canada, who are nineteen (19) years of age or older at the time of entry. Proof of age and residency may be required before a prize is awarded.

Employees, officers, directors, contractors and volunteers of the Sponsor, of the participating restaurants, and of any other organizations associated with the development, production, administration or promotion of the Contest, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each of the above, are not eligible to enter or win.

Participation constitutes each entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Contest Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent on compliance with these Official Contest Rules and fulfilment of all requirements set out here and under applicable law.

4. HOW TO ENTER

There are three ways to enter. No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase does not increase an entrant’s chances of winning.

(a) Passport Entry

Pick up a Langley Burger Month Passport at any participating restaurant. Collect a stamp from a participating restaurant when you try its featured Burger Month burger. Once you have collected four (4) or more stamps, submit your completed passport by dropping it off at any participating restaurant no later than 11:59 PM Pacific Time on November 7, 2026.

Each completed passport bearing four (4) or more valid stamps receives one (1) entry into the prize draw. Passports must include the entrant’s full name, email address and mailing address to be valid. Incomplete, illegible, forged, altered, duplicated or mechanically reproduced passports will be void.

(b) No Purchase Necessary- Voting Entry

Vote online for your favourites in three categories — Best Tasting, Best Presentation and Most Unique — using the voting form at https://www.tourism-langley.ca/events/langley-burger-month/#burger-vote. Voting is open to residents of British Columbia and must be 19+ years of age and does not require a purchase.

Each completed vote submission receives one (1) entry into the prize draw. Voting opens on October 1, 2026 and closes at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on October 31, 2026.

(c) No Purchase Necessary — Mail-In Entry

To enter without a purchase and without voting, hand-print your full name, mailing address, email address and the words “Langley Burger Month Contest” on a plain 3″ x 5″ card and mail it in a sufficiently stamped envelope to: Langley Burger Month Contest, Tourism Langley, 7888 200 Street, Unit 240, Langley, British Columbia V2Y 3J4.

Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than October 31, 2026 and received no later than 11:59 PM Pacific Time on November 7, 2026. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per outer envelope. Illegible, incomplete or mechanically reproduced entries will be void. Each valid mail-in entry receives one (1) entry into the prize draw, subject to the entry limit set out below.

(d) Entry Limit

Limit one (1) entry per person for the duration of the Contest Period, regardless of method of entry. An entrant who submits a passport, casts a vote and completes an alternative method of entry form will receive one (1) entry in total. Entries received in excess of this limit will be void.

All entries, regardless of method, are placed into a single draw pool from which all prizes are drawn. Entries submitted using any automated system, script, bot or other means that circumvents these Official Contest Rules will be disqualified.

5. PRIZES

No method of entry confers any advantage over another. A purchase does not increase an entrant’s chances of winning.

Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize consisting of a one-night stay at the Coast Hotel in Langley, British Columbia, including breakfast for two (2), with an approximate retail value of $200 CAD, plus four (4) $25 CAD gift cards, one each from Ashoka Indian Cuisine, Farm Country Brewing, Ban Chok Dee Thai Cuisine and Steven’s Cocktail Corner Bar + Kitchen. Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize: $300 CAD.

Additional Prizes. Restaurant Gift Card Prize: Fourteen (14) separate prizes, each consisting of one (1) $25 CAD gift card, one each from Five Roads Brewing, Haven Kitchen + Bar, Barley Merchant Taproom & Kitchen, Hard Bean Brunch Co., The Hive Donut, Daddy’s Den Burger Company, The Fort Pub & Grill, Rail & River Steak and Seafood House, Trading Post Eatery, Omni Kitchen + Bar, Beatniks Bistro, Smuggler’s Trail Brewery & Kitchen, Trail’s End – Cafe – Taproom – Bistro, and Masala Boyz Indian Lounge & Bar. Approximate retail value: $350 CAD.

Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $650 CAD.

6. PRIZE DRAW AND ODDS OF WINNING

On or about November 15, 2026, the Sponsor will select 15 eligible entries in a random draw from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will take place at the Sponsor’s offices.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

Each selected entrant is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Contest Rules before being declared a winner. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify stamps with the participating restaurant that issued them and to disqualify any entry it believes to be fraudulent, duplicated or otherwise not compliant.

7. SKILL-TESTING QUESTION

Before being declared a winner, each selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor. An entrant who does not answer the question correctly will forfeit the prize, and an alternate entrant may be selected by random draw from among the remaining eligible entries.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE CLAIM

Selected entrants will be contacted by email at the address provided at the time of entry, on or about November 15, 2026.

If a selected entrant cannot be reached within ten (10) business days of the first attempted notification, fails to respond, is found to be ineligible, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Contest Rules, the prize will be forfeited and the Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, select an alternate entrant by random draw from among the remaining eligible entries.

Each selected entrant must complete, sign and return a Declaration of Compliance and Release form, in the form provided by the Sponsor, within seven (7) business days of notification. Failure to return the completed form by the stated deadline will result in forfeiture of the prize.

Prizes must be claimed by November 1, 2027. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.

Winners will be announced on the Sponsor’s website. By accepting a prize, each winner consents to the use of their name and photograph by the Sponsor for promotional purposes in connection with the Contest, without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law.

9. CHARITABLE DONATION

A portion of the proceeds from every featured Burger Month burger sold at participating restaurants during the Contest Period will be donated to the Langley Food Bank. The donation is separate from the Contest and does not affect a participant’s chances of winning.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS

If the operation, security or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way, for any reason, including force majeure, fraud, virus, technical failure or unauthorised intervention, the Sponsor may, at its sole discretion: (a) suspend the Contest to remedy the impairment and then resume it in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Contest Rules; or (b) terminate the Contest and award the prizes at random from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment.

The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, acting in violation of these Official Contest Rules, or engaging in disruptive conduct. This right is in addition to, and not in place of, any other rights and remedies available to the Sponsor at law or in equity.

Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Contest Rules does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

These Official Contest Rules are subject to change without notice in order to correct an error or to comply with applicable law. In the event of a discrepancy between these Official Contest Rules and any other statement about the Contest, including advertising, point-of-sale material, social media posts or the Burger Month web page, these Official Contest Rules prevail.

11. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, the participating restaurants, the prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or the receipt, use or misuse of any prize, including:

  • technical errors or failures of any kind, including lost, interrupted or unavailable internet service, network or server connections, or hardware or software malfunctions;
  • lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or damaged entries or passports;
  • unauthorised human intervention in the Contest;
  • mechanical, network, electronic, printing, typographical or other errors, including errors in the administration of the Contest or the announcement of winners; and
  • injury, death, loss or damage of any kind to persons or property caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by participation in the Contest or by the acceptance, receipt, use or misuse of any prize, including any food allergy, intolerance or illness arising from food consumed at a participating restaurant.

Entrants further agree that the Released Parties’ aggregate liability in any cause of action is limited to the entrant’s actual cost of entering the Contest, if any, and that in no event will an entrant be entitled to recover legal fees or court costs. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Sponsor disclaims, and entrants waive, the right to claim any punitive, consequential, incidental or other indirect damages.

12. DISPUTES

Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any dispute, claim or cause of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest or any prize awarded will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.

All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Contest Rules are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province.

13. PRIVACY

Personal information collected from entrants is used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest, including verifying eligibility, conducting the draw and contacting winners, and is handled in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at https://www.tourism-langley.ca/privacy-policy/.

Entering the Contest does not subscribe an entrant to any mailing list. Personal information will be retained only as long as necessary to administer the Contest and will then be securely destroyed. Entrants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by contacting Tourism Langley at info@tourism-langley.ca.

14. WINNER LIST

To request the name of the Contest winners, send an email to Tourism Langley at info@tourism-langley.ca or a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Tourism Langley, 7888 200 Street, Unit 240, Langley, BC V2Y 3J4. Requests will be accepted only after the conclusion of the Contest Period and must be received no later than sixty (60) days after the prizes have been awarded.
