News

August 17, 2020

Now that you’ve expended all that energy moving your body on our scenic trails, courses and parks its time to refuel at one of our many dining establishments or local watering holes. We’ve got numerous ways to satisfy your senses. Tempt your taste buds and jump-start your day with mouth-watering goodies from a bakery first thing. Stop in at a café and enjoy a bite of lunch to keep you going or savour a wine tasting with a charcuterie picnic. Then satisfy your hunger with dinner at one of our enticing restaurants. Last but not least, quench your thirst after a fun day of playing at one of our stellar craft breweries. No matter what your senses are craving we’ve got you covered!

Bakeries

Mmm, did someone say coffee? At Blacksmith Bakery the baristas craft the finest range of espresso based coffee drinks using organic beans roasted locally by Agro Coffee Roasters. We could stop there, however a little bit of name dropping never hurt anyone right?! Pop in as you start your day and try something off their menu such as hand-forged viennoiserie, patisserie, cakes, eclairs, tarts, cookies, savouries, soups and gourmet sandwiches. Need we say more?

For over 40 years Cedarbrook Bakery Deli & Bistro has been taking care of Langley’s munching needs. They’ve got it all, from fresh baked bread and buns, party trays, desserts, deli products, gelato and quality lunch meals to grab as you head out on a picnic.

A visit to Tracycakes Bakery Cafe is cause for celebration, there you will enjoy from-scratch specialty baked goods, elegant high teas, delicious baked goods and savoury lunch favourites in a welcoming and charming space.

Eateries

The tastes of Langley offer a vast array of options to tantalize your taste buds. At Saba Cafe Bistro you will find menus made from scratch with love. Vegan and health friendly options are a specialty at Down 2 Earth Plant Parlour. We recommend Wendels Bookstore & Cafe for fresh and flavourful, while Mangia E Scappa is a definite stop for an authentic Italian experience. The Bench Wine Bar will transport you to a feeling of New York with a touch of West Coast Vibe. Whatever flavour you are seeking you will find it while dining in the Township.

Breweries

Nothing says summer like a refreshing brew! Let’s be honest, beer is a beverage that is enjoyed all year round; however, it is also undeniable that summer suds are highly anticipated. Our four local craft breweries never disappoint with their seasonal creations. We could tell you all about them, but you’ll thank us later for letting you find out for yourself!
