Heading into the holidays and looking for a way to support local with a thoughtful gift? We’ve created the Langley Fresh Gift Box, carefully curated with unique products, all sourced from the Township of Langley!

BC BUZZ HONEY: CLOVER HONEY (340G)

BC Buzz Honey is a small batch specialty honey processor base in Langley. Owned and created by Kris Friesen and Chris Davies, these two have gone from great friends to even better partners. They carry only raw honey products, as well as unpasteurized honey from across Western Canada. Find your favourite variety of honey at the Honey Hut or at over 200 stores around the lower mainland.

Product: With a sweet and neutral taste, clover honey is great to incorporate into a number of your meals, drinks, and remedies.

CRANBERRIES NATURALLY:  CRANBERRY MAPLE SAUCE (375ML)

Cranberries Naturally has been in business since 1999 and specializes in natural and locally made cranberry products. The owner of Cranberries Naturally, Jasmine, has put a tremendous effort into creating a warm and welcoming space for all to experience and try/buy her delicious cranberry products. Her products range from dried cranberries to cranberry dressing; all must haves.

Product: The Traditional Cranberry Sauce by Cranberries Naturally is ready for your holiday table. With a jelly-like consistency, this sweet sauce is ready to warm your hearts and sweeten your souls, with its unbelievable cranberry taste with a touch of maple.

ELAINE BREWER-WHITE CERAMICS: HOLIDAY TOQUE CLAY ORNAMENT

For over 30+ years, Elaine Brewer-White has been creating unique and beautiful designs, solely out of clay. Elaine graduated from the Emily Carr College of Art and Design back in 1986; since then, Elaine has continued to astound us all with public gallery installations and shows, outdoor murals, and private commissions of her versatile medium techniques. We look forward to seeing what she comes up with in the future.

Product: We reached out to Elaine for this project, and she came up with the best idea, to make one of a kind Holiday toque ornaments just for you. These adorable ornaments are handmade completely out of clay, perfect for hanging on the Christmas tree.

LIVINGROOM FORT LANGLEY: 8OZ SOY WAX CANDLE BY THE FORT CANDLE CO.

Livingroom Fort Langley is a boutique shop in the heart of Fort Langley. Founded in 2014 by Courtney Van Der Zalm, Livingroom has done nothing but bring the Langley community joy and happiness with their locally styled products through their rustic and cozy atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for candles, decor, or textiles, Livingroom is the stop for you.

Product: Hand poured right here in Fort Langley by The Fort Langley Candle Co. themselves; made form 100% soy wax, this 8oz candle is the best finishing touch for your home. The candle comes enclosed in a little cloth bag, ready for you to either gift or spoil yourself with.

THE NATIONS CREATIONS PROJECT: WOODEN COASTERS & BOOKMARK OF LOCAL FIRST NATIONS ARTWORK

The Nations Creations Project is based out in Chilliwack, BC. The project supports a Stó:lō Nation social enterprise, providing work experience and enhance participants’ skills in manufacturing, retail, shipping and receiving, while increasing revenue for local First Nations artists.

Product: The wooden coaster and bookmark are made by two local Langley First Nations Artists: Wes Antone and Brandon Gabriel. Wes Antone (traditional name X.ex.elles: meaning “likes to draw”) is from the Kwantlen First Nation, BC. He has been carving for over 35 years, being completely self-taught and working from his home in Fort Langley, BC. Brandon Gabriel (traditional name Kwelexwelsten) was born of the Kwantlen First Nation of Fort Langley, BC. He studied Cultural Anthropology and Fine Arts at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at the Emily Carr University. His work has been exhibited internationally, including: The United Kingdom, USA, and Hong Kong.

PAUL WOOD (NUMBER 52 STUDIO + GALLERY): LETTER-PRESSED HOLIDAY TAGS (PKG OF 6)

After spending many years in the field of Art Direction and Design, local artist Paul Wood returns to a place of comfort at the Number 52 Studio and Gallery, where he explores new mediums and creative skills. Not only is the building a gallery, but it is also a fully operational letterpress shop, where Paul creates printed ephemera using both antique printing presses and wood/metal materials. Creating extraordinary pieces for you to adore.

Product: These hand printed letterpress holiday tags are the perfect way to tie up your holiday cheer in your gift wrapping. Six different gift tags, all with distinct designs capturing the holiday season.

REPUBLICA COFFEE ROASTERS: THE CHRISTMAS BLEND (1LB BAG OF BEANS)

Republica Coffee Roasters is a locally owned and operated artisan coffee roasteria in the heart of Fort Langley. Created back in 2007, by co-owners Ricardo Masana and Hiro Tsujimoto, their goal is to produce some of the freshest and finest artisan-roasted coffees available. Through tremendous dedication and meticulous work, Republica Coffee Roasters is definitely the place to go to get delicious quality in a cup.

Product: Republica has created a new dark roast Christmas blend for 2020. It combines two different origins: Tanzania and Columbia, creating a bold flavor with notes of chocolate and liquorice. This blend will be perfect to brew for when you are sitting around the fireplace with your close bubble during the holidays.

THE PRESERVATORY: ASSORTED PRESERVE

The Preservatory is a farm based artisanal food production company, specializing in seasonal preserves. Owner and jam extraordinaire Lee Murphy and her husband Patrick (who is also the owner and winemaker of Vista D’oro Winery) have been creating delicious mixtures of preserves since 2002. Through traditional cooking techniques and complete artisanal dedication, these delicious preserves are the perfect thing for sharing and pairing.

Product: The Preservatory products are always a treat, they are the perfect addition to a homemade charcuterie board, or just on toast. The choice is yours!

TOURISM LANGLEY: GROWLER (32 OZ) AND GROWLER REFILL CARD

Product: We’ve been waiting for a time to create a Tourism Langley Growler, and we thought this was the perfect moment. This 32oz growler is the perfect gift for any craft beer connoisseur or even for yourself.

Included is a $10 gift card to one of Langley’s local breweries for you to fill your new growler with one of their delicious products.

PURCHASE & PICK-UP

The price of the Langley Fresh Gift Box is $95.00 and can be purchased here as of noon December 1st and pick up is available as of Monday, December 7th.

$5.00 from every box goes to the Langley Christmas Bureau and Tourism Langley will donate an additional $5.00 for every box sold.

Payment options include Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Square Gift Cards. There is a limit of 5 boxes available per person.

We have created a contactless pick-up to keep both us and you safe!

Our office is going to be open Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm for you or a friend to come pick up your order. There are two pick up options available:

Curbside Pick-up: When you arrive call 604.371.1477 ext. 3 to let us know you are in the parking lot. We will bring your Langley Fresh Box to your car and place it in your trunk.

Pick up in Our Office: When you pull into the parking lot of the airport, continue to drive straight to the parking lot ahead of you along the runway. Most of the parking along the building is reserved. Walk along the building to the front doors and either walk up the stairs or take the elevator to the second floor. Both the stairs and elevator bring you right to our door. It is a glass wall so we should see you but if not, knock and will place your box on the table at the door for you to pick up. Masks are mandatory when entering the building and office.
