Celebrate Canada Day at McLeod Athletic Park with a full day of live music, family activities, local food and a fireworks finale. On Wednesday, 1 July 2026, the gates open at noon, with entertainment running right through to the evening.
You’ll find live performances throughout the day, a Kids Zone with bouncy castles (open until 8 pm), a Family Fun Hub with face painting and mini golf, food trucks, a Food and Beverage Zone, and a Local Artisan Zone featuring Langley makers. Whether you spend a couple of hours or stay until the fireworks, there’s plenty happening all day.
Stop by the Tourism Langley Visitor Centre
We’ll be there all day, so come and say hello. If you’re looking for ideas on what else to see and do while you’re in Langley, we’d be happy to help.
Stay for the fireworks
The 10:15 pm fireworks display is set to music this year. You can listen from the entertainment stage or sync it through the free Pyrocast app using code DJ48. If loud sounds can be overwhelming for you or someone in your group, listening through headphones is another option. Bringing your own noise-cancelling headphones is recommended if that helps make the experience more comfortable.
Good to know
Parking around the park is limited, so the free shuttle from KPU Langley campus is one of the easiest ways to get there. Cycling, taking transit or carpooling will also make getting in and out much easier. Dogs are welcome as long as they’re on a leash and you clean up after them. For the full entertainment schedule, shuttle information and parking details, visit the Township of Langley Canada Day page. We’ll see you at McLeod Athletic Park.
