Stɑl'əw̓ Pow Wow

The sound of the drums. Hundreds of dancers in vibrant regalia. Indigenous artists, makers, food vendors, and three days of culture, community, and connection.

The stɑl’əw̓ Pow Wow is an annual three-day celebration held in Langley each September, welcoming visitors of all ages to experience one of the region’s most meaningful cultural events. Hosted by the Indigenous women-led stɑl’əw̓ Arts & Cultural Society, the Pow Wow brings together Nations from across British Columbia, Canada, and the United States to honour traditions through song, dance, drumming, and storytelling.

Visitors can watch spectacular Grand Entries, browse a vibrant Indigenous vendors market, enjoy Indigenous cuisine, and experience traditional and contemporary performances. 

The event is family-friendly, alcohol- and drug-free, and encourages visitors to learn, ask questions, and experience Indigenous culture in a respectful and welcoming environment.
