The Historic Otter 248th Trail
The Historic Otter Trail is a collaboration of local businesses along 248th Street located in Langley BC that came together to advertise the remarkable shopping/dining/sipping available along the trail. Partners include; Kensington Prairie Farm, Otter Co-op, Bonetti Meats, JD Farms Specialty Turkey, Krause Berry Farms and Estate Winery, Thunderbird Show Park, Locality Brewing and Loft Country.
John William Best named Otter Road after Colonel William Dhillon Otter. Best and neighbour Robert Brown had served under Colonel Otter in the North West Rebellion. Otter later commanded the first Canadian contingent in the South African war.
