A small yellow building with a "B.C. Telephone Co. Ltd." sign and a wooden sign reading "Alder Grove Telephone Museum & Community Archives" sits on a grassy lot with red ribbon decorations.

Alder Grove Heritage Society & Telephone Museum

The Alder Grove Heritage Society, founded in 1989, is the proud steward of the F.J. Hart Building — a 1910 BC Mills landmark in the heart of Aldergrove. This historic site is home to the Telephone Museum and the community archives, preserving stories of local families, businesses, schools, and associations.

Visitors can explore one of the region’s most extensive telephone collections, trace family roots through community records, and connect with volunteers dedicated to sharing Aldergrove’s history. Admission is by donation, and local history books such as The Place Between 1866–1939 and The Place Between 1940–1970 are available for purchase.
