It’s all about spring fun at Fort Langley. Compete in the “Voyageur Time Trials” at 11 am and watch a coopering demonstration at 12:30 pm. At 2 pm hear the bang of the musket fire echo through the fort, watch a blacksmith demonstration at 3 pm and sing down the flag at 4:30 pm. Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Scramble
Easter Egg Scramble (age 5 & under) at 12 pm and 3 pm. Calling all little bunnies! On April 5 get ready for our all-ages Easter Scavenger Hunt. Your mission: complete the activities of the scavenger hunt and earn chocolate treats. Headlining at Trinity Western University's ever-popular Jazz Night, the SAMC Jazz Combo is directed by Dr. Tony Gallo. 14th Annual Erikson's Daylily Gardens Open House
Saturday and Sunday July 11th and 12th, 10 am to 4pm each day. Come and visit the gardens at peak bloom time and see thousands of daylilies, lilies, hostas, rare and unusual trees, shrubs and perennials! Local garden-related exhibitors will be on hand as well as the VanDusen Master Gardeners to answer your questions, the Aldergrove Daylily Society and their fun raffle, and the soft sounds of Judy Henry playing her harp. This yearly event is to help support local charities - this year the BC Childrens Hospital and the Langley Christmas Bureau. Admission is by donation. Please note that these are private gardens, so sadly we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers and walkers. Children are welcome but must be kept with you at all times. No pets please.
