Aldor Acres Pumpkin Patch

Come experience the best fall has to offer out on the farm. We have over 20 acres of pumpkin patches and 5 acres of animal displays - providing a fun and hands-on farm experience for kids of all ages. Ecoblitz Planting at Aldergrove Regional Park

October 25
Calling all planters! If you are keen to plant lots, this is the event for you. We will be reclaiming an old raspberry field and turning it back into a forest ecosystem. Although the scale of the planting is large, the plants are small and easy to put in the ground. Thus, this will be a perfect activity for young families and large groups. We will be planting over 4,000 plant plugs, so the more volunteers the merrier. Come join in the fun! Metro Vancouver will provide equipment (i.e. gloves, dibbles, trowels, etc.) and refreshments. Simply come prepared to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Ecoblitz Planting - Greening a Wildlife Corridor at Campbell Valley

Help restore a disturbed site into valuable habitat by replanting a small plot next to a lush heritage field. The planting will be moderately paced, so you will have time to take in the fresh country air and lovely vistas of the surrounding meadows while enhancing the park. In addition to planting a variety of native vegetation such as salmonberry, western hemlock and ferns, we will also be removing invasive ivy from the site. Metro Vancouver will provide equipment (i.e. shovels, gloves, etc.) and refreshments. Simply come prepared for the weather and activity (e.g. sturdy footwear, raincoat, etc.). Grape Stomp

Get hands on with the harvest. Live your grape stomp “bucket list” experience with Township 7. Enjoy a fun afternoon at our south Langley winery with live music and good friends. Sample our new fall wine releases at our outdoor wine bar or in our barrel cellar tasting room. Come with a team of six or join one of ours. This outdoor competition will do more than raise the heart rate, as Grape Stomp proceeds support local charity. Costumes are encouraged but optional! Fun prizes for best team and costumes! The Langley Community Chorus presents our 23rd annual Christmas Concert titled "Season of Dreams". Our Director Anita Comba has selected a wide range of seasonal music to present to you. We will be performing, in Latin, four movements of the famous and stirring Gloria in D-major by Antonio Vivaldi. Other selections include Candle in the Night; Song for a Winter's Night; December's Keep; Breath of Heaven; our beautiful title song Season of Dreams; plus several well known traditional Carols. On the lighter side we will sing the popular I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.
