Experience good times at the many festivals and events held year round in Langley. Watch the arts and culture come alive at the annual Cranberry Festival in October, or the International Festival in August. The spirit of the community really shines on special occasions whether Langley is celebrating Canada or the Magic of Christmas. Pumpkins, Pigs & Petting Zoos at Aldor Acres Ltd

September 19 - October 31
It's that time of year again - pumpkin picking time. Step out of the hustle and bustle and come on down to the farm for the day to find your special pumpkin and have a visit with all our animal friends. Take a hayride out to one of our 6 pumpkin patches after wandering around the farmyard. Feed the goats in the petting zoo, cuddle bunnies in the bunny corrals, and cheer on our 4 legged friends at the Swine Scurry Pig Racing track. Be sure to stop by the Farmacy on your way out for your farm fresh veggies, meat packages, and artisanal preserves. We are open daily from September 19th - October 31st, 9am-5pm, Rain or Shine. Admission is $8 per person. Pumpkins range from $1-$20.

Walnut Grove Community Market

September 18 - October 9
The Walnut Grove Business Association presents North Langley's first Community Market on Friday, Sept. 18th from 4-8 p.m. at 8880 - 202nd Street, Walnut Grove (in the parking lot of Remax, Vanilla Clothing, North Langley Paint) This Community Market includes local artisans, distilleries, food samples, quality baking, live entertainment and more.

Join us for a night of conversation with our artist for the month of October, Olivia de Fleuriot Perry. Olivia de Fleuriot is an emerging artist and recent graduate of Trinity Western University’s School of Arts, Media and Culture with a BA (Honours) in Art + Design. Olivia’s material semiotic practice emerged in response to her fascination with the body and human perception. Olivia seeks to inform the complex interrelations of one’s bodily experience in relation to others, and hopes through this process to probe a deeper investigation of non-spoken and nonverbal interactions. 7-9pm

The Cranberry Festival

The Cranberry Festival is held each year on the Saturday of the Thanksgiving weekend in the heart of historic Fort Langley. We celebrate the harvest and history of the cranberry in Fort Langley. Cool, unique vendors, free entertainment, pancake breakfast, and family activities await everyone for what is always a great day in the centre of Fort Langley.

Cranberry Festival at Fort Langley National Historic Site

Along Glover Road in the village of Fort Langley, pick up some fresh cranberries for your Thanksgiving feast and browse nearly 100 vendors’ wares in the village of Fort Langley's biggest event of the year! At Fort Langley National Historic Site (23433 Mavis Ave.), watch a barrel-making demonstration, try cranberry bannock, play cranberry-related games, and more.

Green Wednesday Film Screening "The Pristine Coast"

The Pristine Coast highlights the work of BC salmon advocate Alexandra Morton. The film makes the case that the marine ecosystem off the coast of British Columbia is in trouble, with open net pen fish farms leading to the collapse of many wild fish populations. And wild fish populations are critical in the fight to reduce greenhouses gases and stop global warming. Follow the wild salmon story! Event features a Q&A session with Scott Renyard, the writer/director/producer. Grave Tales

October 15 - October 29
Tales of love in the after-life, mysterious burials, and hair-raising amputations will chill visitors during Fort Langley National Historic Site’s annual Grave Tales Historic Walking Tours. Costumed interpreters will share tales of misfortune in Fort Langley’s cemeteries, streets, and inside the spooky 1850s fort. Learn about some long dead, but still lingering spirits, including Louisa Emptage who searches for her Hudson’s Bay Company-employed husband William at the Fort Langley cemetery. Maybe you’ll see the ghostly young boy who still wants to play in the Big House. Finish the tour with a hot drink around the bonfire. Ugly, the other other Cinderella story
