Fraser Valley Cork Keg - Wine, Beer and Food Festival

The Countdown is on until the 4th Annual Fraser Valley Cork & Keg! Now in our fourth year, the Fraser Valley Cork and Keg festival is a showcase of local and international wines, craft and premium beer, Fraser Valley delicacies including local producers, restaurants and culinary artisans. Guests to our event can expect over 300 different types of wine, beer and spirits — truly providing a little something for everyone. Highlights of the festival include: Oyster bar, presented by 1 Fish 2 Fish Fresh Seafood Market, Live entertainment. All tastings included in the ticket price. The Cork and Keg event consists of two components each with its own unique audience. The trade and media portion of the day is a great opportunity for anyone in the hospitality industry to discover something new or reacquaint themselves with a variety of products provided by our vendors during the festival. This segment is the perfect opportunity to meet with liquor agents, network with buyers, trade staff, and industry media. Back for 2014, a series of trade-focused seminars discussing wine terrior, the art of craft beer, and food pairings. Langley Rams vs Nanaimo VI Raiders

There is nothing that compares to the atmosphere of a football game on a late September afternoon... the sights and sounds around the stadium... the smell of fried onions and ball park burgers on the grill and the taste of a cold beer or other beverage... well it just doesn't get any better. The Langley Rams host Nanaimo's VI Raiders in what is sure to be a fall classic as two of the Nations top ranked teams battle for position as the regular season winds down. Langley Rams vs VI Raiders games are always intense and entertaining affairs and this one will not disappoint! Campbell Valley Wine Run

September 21

A very scenic almost 15K Wine Run from High Point through the trails of Campbell Valley to visit the beautiful wineries in the area. Stop and visit each one and sample their wines. This run is not a race and will not be officially timed. It is all about having fun by running, wine tasting and socializing! Enjoy post-run entertainment and catering by Well-Seasoned. The goal of the event is to raise awareness of the Campbell Valley Wine Route and at the same time raise some money for two local groups that add value to our community: Critter Care Wildlife Society and the Pacific Riding for Developing Abilities. The supporting wineries are: Vista D'oro, Backyard Vineyeards, Township 7 and Chaberton Estate Winery. Run course organizer is Peninsula Runners. Also supported by Well Seasoned, Sky Helicopters and High Point Equestrian Centre. Wine prizes for the best constumed individual, best costumed team, and best surviving costume.

The Dover Quartet

Considered one of the most remarkably talented string quartets ever to emerge at such a young age, the Dover Quartet swept the 2013 Banff International String Quartet Competition, winning the Grand Prize as well as all three Special Prizes. LCMS is fortunate to have them as part of their winner's tour to B.C. Join us for an evening of intrigue with Fort Langley's brand new event Gold Rush Murder Mystery. Experience the thrill of solving a mystery in the exact location where BC was proclaimed a colony. The event includes a hearty meal that would delight the stomach of the hungriest gold miner, the opportunity to get dressed into select period costume pieces, as well the chance to win prizes for the most convincing performance and best costume.
