Fort Langley Community Hall

A landmark in Fort Langley, the Hall was completed in 1931 and is a designated "Heritage" Building. It continues to be maintained and supported by a volunteer Board of Directors and members. It is a large, gracious, 2-storey edifice with a grand ballroom, which boasts a horsehair sprung dance floor, a stage with lighting and sound and a balcony. Downstairs there is a meeting room, an office and the Fort Langley Branch of the Fraser Valley Regional Library.  It is an excellent rental facility and is popular for parties, meetings, movies and weddings.

Langley City Park

Langley City Park is a great place for the entire family. It features a seasonal water park, four baseball diamonds, a football field, soccer fields, a playground, an outdoor lacrosse box, four horseshoe pits, and 32 picnic table. It is also home to Al Anderson Memorial Pool and the Langley Community Music School.

Langley Events Centre

The brand new state-of-the art Langley Events Centre officially opened on June 13, 2009.

 

It is the home to the Willoughby Community Centre and 8 sports teams including the BCHL Langley Rivermen, Trinity Western University Spartans Athletics and the IBL Vancouver Titans.Among other features, the more than 250,000 square foot facility houses a 5,000 seat arena, a triple gymnasium, a certified gymnastics training area and a 500 seat banquet hall.

 

The centre hosts such events as hockey, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, trade shows, concerts and many other types of events.

Walnut Grove Community and Aquatic Centre

This facility features a 50-meter main pool, a 75-meter water slide, a sauna and steam room, a wheelchair accessible therapy pool, adult and family hot tubs, and a Tarzan swing rope. It also contains a fitness room with cardiovascular equipment and a gymnasium with two full courts that can be used for basketball, tennis, badminton, volleyball, and soccer.
