Autumn Abundance Bouquet Workshop
Imagine an afternoon in which you will forage for the most beautiful and unique seasonal blooms and foliage at our family run flower farm, specializing in sustainably grown heritage varieties. Slow down and be inspired by nature when you come to spend time in our massive gardens picking flowers in an autumn colour palette . You will be taught how to select and pick flowers. You will learn how to arrange your blooms in a loose and airy fashion placing them in a small bowl so that the bouquet is perfect as a centerpiece for your fall table.
In addition we will talk about cut flower care, and any questions you may have about our flower farm.
A vessel will be provided or if you prefer bring your own small bowl to use that matches your decor
This workshop is limited to 16 participants to ensure social distancing. No experience is required! This is an outdoor event with lots of space for everyone to spread out. There is a covered open area to have the class in the event of rain however in the event of rain be prepared to gather flowers in the gardens prior to commencing making a bouquet.
This is a working farm with uneven surfaces so it is best to wear flat shoes.
We have a goat dairy as well as several breeds of heritage chickens, ducks and geese to view and enjoy and our farm is extremely photogenic so make sure you give yourself time to take photos!
Due to the nature of this event there are no refunds though you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person should you be unable to attend. The class will commence rain or shine as we have an open covered area to work but dress appropriately to be outdoors. Be prepared to wear a mask depending on what the provincial guidelines are at the time.
Please bring your pruners if you have some.
