Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Here in Langley, between the cafes and restaurants, you have no excuse to not enjoy a good breakfast. From pastries and coffee to full breakfast and pancakes, there is no reason to skip the most important meal of the day.
The Hilltop Diner is located on Fraser Highway and 240th Street. Sit down in this historic diner from 1946, and enjoy all the little charms. Sit where films and TV shows have been filmed. Supernatural, Bates Motel and Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants just to name a few filmed at the Hilltop Diner. Located in the Historic Fort Langley, Wendel’s offers you a combination of two things I like, books and breakfast! Enjoy B.C. blueberry pancakes, Mediterranean omelets and yogurt parfaits. This quaint house was built in 1910. It combines a décor and furniture shop and a café and wedding reception area into one beautifully charmed house. In their café enjoy the tastes of Paris, from macroons to croissants to an everyday brunch menu featuring stuffed French toast. Feeling like Royalty form England? Looking for an organic breakfast spot but with a First Nations twist? Located in Fort Langley on the waterfront, enjoy your breakfast while you gaze out the window onto the Fraser River. Built in the original site of Reid’s Blacksmith Shop, the Blacksmith bakery offers you historic charm and an artisan bakeshop. Enjoy locally sourced and seasonal flavours throughout the year. They also brew local coffee company Republica Coffee, pair it with one of their delicious croissants to start the day. Open everyday from 7am-7pm.
Located in Walnut Grove, the Water Shed Café is your one stop breakfast café. They strive to keep all of their food local by partnering with local farms around the Lower Mainland. Choose from a wide range of eggs and bacon combinations, add seasonal vegetables and farmer sausage or havarti cheese and sautéed mushrooms. Formerly a general store built in historic Murrayville circa 1888, by the Porter Family. It has remained in the family for over 90 years. This historic bistro still has all the fixtures and cabinets from when it became a Porter’s Coffee and Tea House in 1997. Enjoy breakfast themed after the Porter Family members, if you choose a PY Porter expect the traditional breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, your choice of bacon, sausage or ham with toast. If you choose Karen’s No Carb, expect eggs, grilled tomatoes, yogurt and your choice of bacon, sausage or ham with toast. You can’t go wrong with a hearty breakfast from Porters.
