The Hilltop Diner is located on Fraser Highway and 240th Street. Sit down in this historic diner from 1946, and enjoy all the little charms. Sit where films and TV shows have been filmed. Supernatural, Bates Motel and Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants just to name a few filmed at the Hilltop Diner. Wendel’s Bookstore and Café
Located in Historic Fort Langley, Wendel’s offers you a combination of two things I like, books and breakfast! Enjoy B.C. blueberry pancakes, Mediterranean omelets and yogurt parfaits. To go along perfectly with your breakfast, sip away at Moja’s coffee. Moja’s coffee is an Italian roast that comes from a small company located in North Vancouver. Check out the full menu here. Little White House & Co
This quaint house was built in 1910. It combines a décor and furniture shop and a café and wedding reception area into one beautifully charmed house. In their café enjoy the tastes of Paris, from macroons to croissants to an everyday brunch menu featuring stuffed French toast. Feeling like Royalty form England? Even though this isn’t breakfast, you can enjoy their High Tea menu with the traditional tea, scones and sandwiches. Check out the full menu here. Looking for an organic breakfast spot but with a First Nations twist? Located in Fort Langley on the waterfront, enjoy your breakfast while you gaze out the window onto the Fraser River. Built in the original site of Reid’s Blacksmith Shop, the Blacksmith bakery offers you historic charm and an artisan bakeshop. Enjoy locally sourced and seasonal flavours throughout the year. They also brew local coffee company Republica Coffee, pair it with one of their delicious croissants to start the day. Open everyday from 7am-7pm.
Water Shed Café
Located in Walnut Grove, the Water Shed Café is your one stop breakfast café. They strive to keep all of their food local by partnering with local farms around the Lower Mainland. Choose from a wide range of eggs and bacon combinations, add seasonal vegetables and farmer sausage or havarti cheese and sautéed mushrooms. They also offer Belgian waffles and their ‘Hippy Grandma’ breakfast options. Check out their whole menu here. Open Monday to Friday 6:30am till 5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am till 5:00pm. They are closed on Sunday.
Porter’s Coffee and Tea House
Formerly a general store built in historic Murrayville circa 1888, by the Porter Family. It has remained in the family for over 90 years. This historic bistro still has all the fixtures and cabinets from when it became Porter’s Coffee and Tea House in 1997. Enjoy breakfast themed after the Porter Family members, if you choose a PY Porter expect the traditional breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, your choice of bacon, sausage or ham with toast. If you choose Karen’s No Carb, expect eggs, grilled tomatoes, yogurt and your choice of bacon, sausage or ham with toast. You can’t go wrong with a hearty breakfast from Porters. Tracycakes Bakery Cafe
Famous for their cupcakes, Tracy Cakes is located just across from Porter’s Coffee and Tea house in historic Murrayville, offers you breakfast items too. Enjoy a continental breakfast with a fresh baked cinnamon bun or scones, muffins and biscuits with Devonshire cream and jam. They also offer you a chance to experience the English royal experience and enjoy a High Tea, with 5 different choices from traditional to champagne and health conscious as well as a kids tea.
