The “Big House” at Fort Langley provided the background for this official ceremony. 150 years later the walls of this historic fur trading post still stand as a reminder of Langley’s proud heritage.

Visit the Fort Langley National Historic Site, the place where it all began and watch as costumed interpreters demonstrate the pioneer way of life. Explore the multi-cultural influences that shaped Langley into the community it is today at the many museums and galleries.
