With international interest in the region growing the British quickly moved to proclaim the Crown Colony of British Columbia. The “Big House” at Fort Langley provided the background for this official ceremony. 150 years later the walls of this historic fur trading post still stand as a reminder of Langley’s proud heritage.

It was nice to see so many people stop by and chat with the Ask Langley team at Fort Langley and it looked like everyone was having a lot of fun.
