Spring Break activities in Langley, B.C.

Where have the last few months gone!? It feels like we just celebrated New Years! With the spring flowers popping up and warmer weather happening more often, it can only mean 2 weeks of freedom for all school kids! We have put a together some ideas to keep the kids and yourself busy this Spring Break.


Township of Langley Spring Break Camps

Have you checked out Township of Langley’s recreation guide? From day camps to week long camps, the recreation centres have you covered! From Babysitter Boot Camp to LEGO Minecraft before and after camps, you will have tons to pick from for your child. Check out the Winter Recreation Guide for two weeks full of camps for any age! Jr. Zoologist Camp

Do you have a budding zoologist in your family or an animal lover? The Greater Vancouver Zoo has you covered. This camp runs from March 19th until March 23rd. The kids get to meet the animals up close, make enrichment and food for the animals and of course crazy zoo crafts! Register by contacting 604-856-6825 ext 28 or email!

Fort Langley National Historic Site

Head to the Fort Langley National Historic Site for their focus on the Fraser! Learn about the ecology of the Fraser River and the important connection for the Sto:lo people. Don’t forget to try the Salmon Run Activity, by packing a barrel full of salmon! Join in on the daytime walking tours on the weekends too. Kids under 17 get in free. Canadian Museum of Flight

Have a budding aviator in the family? Check out the Canadian Museum of Flight! Check out the hanger floor or sit in a pedal airplane. Don’t forget to find the newly restored sopwith pup that flew over Vimy Ridge. Feeling a little hungry?  Make sure to stop for pie at the Airport Coffee Shop! Check out the opening times here.


Eagle Acres Diary Farm

Did you know Eagle Acres Dairy Farm, is now ready for visitors? You can feed the babies and hang out with the animals! They will be offering family tours on March 24th at 3pm and March 31st at 1pm. You’ll get a chance to meet the animals, make butter and milk a cow! For prices and more information check it out here!

Distillery Tour at Roots and Wings 

Have you tried Roots and Wings Distillery yet? Well take time for yourself and go for a tasting! You can check out the farm and scenery, while sipping on craft spirits. The tasting room, located 5 minutes away from Fort Langley, is open Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm until 5pm. Check them out here.
