Remembrance Day in Langley, B.C.

Remembrance Day will be on Saturday this year. Langley has 3 ceremonies to choose from, Fort Langley, Murrayville and Aldergrove. Here are the three ceremonies and their locations.


Aldergrove Legion
26607 Fraser Highway

The Military parade begins at 10:40 am. Followed by the service at the Cenotaph and the laying of the wreaths.

Langley Legion
20570 56th Avenue

The parade begins at 10:23 a.m., at the Langley Legion. It will proceed to Douglas Park. The service will be held at the Douglas Park Cenotaph around 11:00 a.m.

Fort Langley Heritage Garden
23105 Glover Road

The Fort Langley Heritage Garden invites you to walk through the garden and light a candle or plant some poppy seeds in remembrance.

Fort Langley Remembrance Day
9025 Glover Road

Starting at 10:25 a.m., a procession will start at the west end of the Fort Langley Cemetery near St. Andrew’s Street and Nash Street. The service will begin at 10:40 a.m. with a flypast by the Fraser Blues vintage aircraft team at 11 a.m.

Muarryville Cemetery
21405 44 Ave

The ceremony starts at 10:45 a.m. It is the first formal ceremony and those who would like to sit are asked to bring their lawn chairs.
