Business succeeds with great partners and a strong network.

Tourism Langley is accreditation from the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) an international accreditation program developed by the Washington, DC based Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI).  In earning the DMAP accreditation, destination marketing organizations (DMOs) communicate to their provincial and municipal government as well as community, purchasers and potential visitors that their DMO has attained a significant measure of excellence.

DMAP accreditation standards cover a wide variety of topics including governance, finance, management, human resources, technology, visitor services, group services, sales, communications, membership, brand management, destination development, research/market intelligence, innovation and stakeholder relationships. Tourism Langley is among other community DMO’s in British Columbia accredited in this program.

The communities of Langley, Abbotsford & Chilliwack recognize that a collaborative approach to marketing will result in more effective and efficient marketing campaigns. The more we have to offer – collectively – the further people will come and the longer they will stay. From this concept grew the marketing imitative known as The Fraser Valley. It is based on the simple idea that by working together, we can be stronger.

Circle Farm Tour™ is a collaborative marketing partnership mandated to showcase the diversity of quality agri-tourism and related businesses in the Fraser Valley. The focus is on marketing “export-ready” and “visitor friendly” products while providing a unique tourism experience. The communities of Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, and Agassiz/Harrison work together and leverage each others resources to promote the self-guided Circle Farm Tours as remarkable experiences in the Fraser Valley.

wcfThe Lower Mainland Tourism Alliance (LMTA) is a consortium of destination marketing organizations from the communities of Vancouver, Vancouver’s North Shore (City of North Vancouver, District of North Vancouver and West Vancouver), Burnaby, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Richmond, White Rock, Surrey and The Fraser Valley (Abbotsford, Chilliwack & Langley.)
