As the grand finale of Aldergove’s annual Wall-O-Lantern event on October 26th, witness the lighting of approximately 600-1000 jack-o-lanterns! Other activities such as a climbing wall, bouncy castle, face painting, tattoo artist’s, balloon art, kids craft area and more are available from 10am-8pm with the jack-o-lantern lighting taking place at 7pm.
Saturday, October 26th stop by the Marketplace IGA in Walnut Grove for The Great Pumpkin Giveaway! Enjoy hourly free giveaways, demo’s and family fun, pumpkin cupcake decorating, holiday entertaining ideas with Angie Quaale from Well Seasoned, hot apple cider and hot chocolate. There’s even a free pumpkin hunt with donation to food bank.
The Langley Rivermen are hosting their annual Trick-Or-Suite Night at the Langley Events Centre on October 26th. Wear your costume and bring your candy bag! Trick or Treaters will receive a coloured wristband which will correspond to the intermission in which they will trick or treat.
Another great family event is happening at the Fort Langley National Historic Site on October 26-27. Family Fright at the Fort will have your trick-or-treaters discovering surprises, enjoying balloons, creepy crawlers, and pumpkin decorating from 1-4pm.
On October 26, 27 and 31st visit the Greater Vancouver Zoo for Boo at the Zoo! Meet a “Creepy Crawly” in the Vivarium and visit the haunted Animalasium Learning Centre to make a Halloween craft! Free admission into the Zoo for children (12 years and under) when they come dressed in a Halloween costume!
On Halloween night you can trick-or-treat indoors at the Willowbrook Shopping Centre from 5-6pm. Register at 4pm for only $2 a child up to the age of 12, and enjoy a fun and lively parade through the mall.
