Celebrating Canada’s 150th was so much fun! After Canada Day is when the events and activities start to heat up in Langley. Not only is the weather beautiful and warm but everything comes to life this time of year! Here’s only a small list of things you can do in Langley this month.
The first week of January is often the signal for us to all resume our daily routines after the holiday period. For the past few years in Langley, the onset of January is also congruent with the beginning of the National Lacrosse League season for our Vancouver Stealth. What’s not routine about the Stealth this year is that they are off to the best start they’ve had since relocating to Langley.
This December, Langley was blessed to receive a good sized dose of winter magic. The snow fell, the trees glistened, and the community transformed into a wonderland. It’s not often that we receive a good blanketing of the white stuff, but when we do we definitely enjoy it every way we can. Every year families enjoy the festivities that the holiday season brings at the Fort Langley National Historic Site. The annual Heritage Holiday at the Fort event brings visitors and locals from near and far, filling their hearts with joy, their stomach’s with good food, and their minds with interesting tid-bits of information about the origins of our province and life in the 1800’s, all amidst a festive, historical ambience.
